I have learned a lot from Vox Magazine, being a web editor as well as a writer. As a web editor I worked with the music department to create online-only content to enhance stories, including Google maps,  music playlists and infographics.  Besides creating online content, we enhanced the stories by including SEO-friendly titles and embedded videos and pictures from print for a digital audience. I researched the site’s traffic via Google Analytics and used social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Storify) for live reporting events such as Lodgestock and Roots ‘N’ Blues. Editing iPad issues, blogging weekly and creating/managing Vox’s Tumblr account were a few other duties I had as an editor. I also have previous work from Vox including film reviews and a profile piece.
