In Spring of 2013, I reported for Dr. Marc Johnson’s HIV lab, in which I communicated with a fellow as a science journalism intern for SciXchange. It is a program funded by C3,which stands for transferring life science through collaboration computation and communication. I created a photo essay, a feature story, as well as blogged for the site and reported for the undergraduate research forum that year. That fall I continued with the program under Dr. Rocio Rivera’s epigenetic lab in the Animal Science Research Center. I continued to blog for the lab as well as worked on a semester video about epigenetics and assisted reproduction.
